Did you know that Freestone cooperated in the realization of the renewed material lending service VGC? The most important innovation is that users can now pick up and return material 24/24 and 7/7. The renewed lending service was festively inaugurated by the members of the Flemish Community Commission, in the presence of various customers who often use the material.
Thanks to these interventions, it is possible to stock the material more efficiently, so that the range can be expanded further in the future. The reception of customers is adapted by a separate access for the public and the new mobile counter. To meet the demand for longer opening times, a new access control system has been installed.
Now users can also return and collect material outside opening hours. In addition, a separate workshop for carpentry and a larger multipurpose room was added. The general storage capacity for promotional material has been increased and there are new changing rooms, showers and sanitary facilities for technical and logistical staff.
Roel Schreurs – Architect Freestone
