Specifically, the municipality wanted to know whether it would be interesting to opt for:

  1. Maintenance and further maintenance of the buildings;
  2. Complete renovation, with new design and access;
  3. Demolition and new construction within this block or elsewhere in the municipality;
  4. Combination of partial renovation and new construction.

The screening involved a spatial, technical and organizational analysis of the various buildings. Subsequently, the four spatial scenarios were elaborated and calculated financially. Finally, the preferred scenario was chosen through a weighted comparison.
